Cycle China - done and dusted :)

Hello everyone

Thank you all so much for your support... we're back, we did it and here's a rather hazy pic of us on the Great Wall of China to prove it!!!

It has been very busy since we got back from China, as many of you will know when we arrived back we heard we were having an Ofsted Inspection from the 9th - 12th of this month so I'm afraid you'll have to hang on a little longer for pics and updates...

Solo 10.5 miles & Bollywood Hour

We split up this evening... but our training continues...

I went out for a solo bike ride and Val went to Bollywood Dancing... An hour or so for each of us and here are the results (more Bollywood pics to follow as soon as I receive them) plus a map of our new route :)

Tuesday, 27th April 2010 - 10.16 miles

Yup, for the 4th consecutive day we went out on our bikes and tonight we did a not to shabby 10.16 miles (over 60 miles in 4 days) with a slight alteration to our Irchester Loop route... 

As our route was pretty much the same as last nights, we've not added our MapMyRide Map.  Also not mtoo any pics tonight... just short and sweet, enjoy!!!

 

Tonight's picture slide show has something different to offer...

A day later and we were back on the bikes - thankfully, we're getting used to being back in the saddle now so not so much pain tonight...

Another 9.66 miles under our belts and a picture slide show with a difference... this time with actual video footage too...  I'm impressed it worked, see what you think...

Lots of hills and ANOTHER 21 miles - 42 this weekend!!!

Well, yesterday was hilly but today was really HILLY!!!! 

Lovely day - sun and 21 miles today

It was a really lovely day today, not as hot as we first thought but perfect for a bike ride so we headed off and did an impressive 21 miles (well, we were impressed).

MapMyRide - what a clever little gizmo!!!

This evening we went out for another little cycle, doing a circuit of the village, taking in Farndish and a bit of Wollaston on our travels...

The main difference between this evening's ride and every other one we've ever done is that tonight we were tracked by satelites and they plotted our route, showed us how hilly the terrain was and... even gave us a birds eye view of the route we took...
