We were really disappointed that the reporter didn't make mention of many of our comments in particular why we wanted to do take part in this challenge.
I said that one of my reasons was because I know that members of my family could really benefit from the valuable research funded by the charity - my Mum has Multiple Sclerosis and my Dad, 3 of my Aunts and an Uncle all have diabetes. Money raised by the charity is being used to fund further stem cell research (something that potentially could really benefit my Mum with regards to more effective treatment and possibly even a cure) and it is also funding research into Type 2 Diabetes.
